C-DIT, Centre for Development of Imaging Technology, is an autonomous body  setup  by the state government in 1988. Communication training is one of the major ventures of C-DIT. It offers different courses in the communication field. They include PG Diploma,Diploma and Certificate courses. CTT started with the one year P.G.Diploma programme in Science and Development Communication in the year 1995. Now the team provides about 14 long and short term courses. A minimum of 15 students is ideal for each course/batch.

Besides DSDC, CTT conducts one year PG Diploma in Multimedia Designing, Animation Film Designing, TV & New Media Journalism, TV Production Management & Marketing. We also conduct Diploma courses in Digital Media Production, Web Designing & Development and Certificate courses in TV News presentation, Photo Journalism, Digital Still Photography, Non Linear Editing, Videography, etc. C-DIT conducts short term training programmes for other institutions, universities, colleges etc.

CTT has experienced faculty members for handling classes. Eminent personalities from the film field, engineering colleges, universities and other relevant sectors are handling classes as guest faculty members.

It  has well equipped  computer labs, class rooms, digital  cameras, video cameras, shooting floor, non linear edit suit , sound booth and photo lab.
C-DIT has a specialized library in the field of media studies. Thousands of books, periodicals  and a considerable collection of soft documents, news paper cuttings, etc are available at the library at Chitranjali Hills .

Admissions are open for new batches in PG Diploma and Diploma Courses for the year 2011-12. Short term certificate programmes are ongoing and batches are held periodically.
