Weekend: 5 months
Evening: 5 months

Timings: Regular: 9.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.
Weekend: 9 a.m. 5 p.m.
Evening: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Fee Structure:

Course Fee: Rs 20, 000
Caution Deposit: Rs 2000

No. of Students: 12 per batch

Selection Procedure: Selection will be based on aptitude test and interview

AREAS: Introduction to Video, Different Formats, Digital Video, Video Camera Basics Elements of Shots, Types of shots, Movement Descriptions , Shot Definitions, Composition, Simple Shots, Shot Variations, Complex Shots, Pans and Tilts, Complex Shots, Combination of Movements, Developing Shots, Shooting Ratio, Working practices, Elements of Lighting, Multi-camera shoot, Elements of edit.

As a result, the traditional field of still photography has passed through a stage of transition. This course is offered in order to equip the upcoming photographers and professionals to meet this challenge.

AREAS: Controlling sharpness, Controlling exposure, Image Quality, Light- Natural and Artificial, Lighting- Flash and Continuous, Composition; Technical aspects of the Digital Image: Pixels, Resolution, Bit Depth, Dynamic Range, Noise; Types of Digital Cameras, their features and operations; Digital image processing and editing, Compositing

4. P.G Certificate Course In Photo Journalism

Photojournalism is all about the “decisive moment.” The decisive moment is that very moment which evokes the ultimate significance of a given situation,” says Henri Cartier-Bresson. This course is about reporting with a camera the visual aspect of journalism. Some technical aspects will be covered, but the majority will be hands-on assignments that are typical of newspapers and magazines.

AREAS: There is substantial reading on photojournalism, plus a variety of writing assignments about that reading.
